StoryProof Started With A Great Idea - And A Suspect Sketch

We’ve written - and written. Combined, Jason and I have published hundreds of stories, ranging from interviews with Rosanne Cash and David Dye of NPR's World Cafe, features on cutting-edge entrepreneurs and Civil War reenactors, and even Op-Eds trying to offer a solution to potential biological warfare. Still, between the two of us, we have so many true stories jotted down in notebooks and on index cards and scraps of paper (because people love talking to us and we love listening) that we needed to expand our operation.

So Let's Do This!

We're here to write about people, places, and things. Cool people, places, and things that should go on a bucket-list of cool people, places, and things to know about before you...well, you get our point. We find people fascinating and inspiring and hope you will too.

And we splurged on getting a real, fancy picture to prove we take storytelling seriously.

A big thank you for reading and listening.

Storytelling is living history. We live the moments that matter - now. My grandfather, a painter (visual arts skips a generation or two), drove me to school each morning. And each morning he’d say: “Learn a new word, make a new friend, and be the best tree by the side of the road.” I struggle with that last instruction (though I try my very best), but words and friends come easier to me. And I’ve always interpreted his advice as a directive to write about the people I meet, and to keep meeting people and keep writing about them.

That’s our shared philosophy here at StoryProof. Everyone has a story to tell – and we’re honored to play a part in telling it.
